Many customers of the product, who are mostly small restaurants specializing in chafing-dish cuisine, say that the sliced mutton rolls they bought are actually mutton-flavored pork, and vendors have confirmed their reports. |
據《現代快報》消息，南京市有一些商販和餐館近日一直在出售含有化學添加劑的“羊肉風味”豬肉，豬肉質量令人擔憂。這種產品的顧客多為小火鍋店，他們表示自己購買的“羊肉卷”其實就是“羊肉風味”的豬肉，經銷商也承認了這一說法。 |
| Wholesalers of the "mutton" say the restaurants buy the pork at less than 5 yuan per box and then sell them as mutton at their restaurants for more than twice the price they paid. One vendor said he doesn't eat the meat for fear of his health, though a Nanjing Agriculture University professor said the chemical additives may not actually be harmful. The professor warned that any danger from the additives would come from masking the smell of bad or spoiled meat. |
