The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Saturday that it successfully intercepted a surface-to-surface missile launched from Yemen toward Israel.
The IDF stated that the missile was intercepted outside Israel's borders.
The missile triggered sirens in several areas of central Israel, including Tel Aviv.
The Israeli Magen David Adom emergency health service reported that several people sustained minor injuries while rushing to shelters.
