On the first day of the 2012 UN Climate Change Conference, the Chinese delegation has held a press conference.

Speaking at the conference, China's chief climate change negotiator Su Wei said the main job for the Doha Conference is to put the consensus made since the Copenhagen Conference into practice.

And he also emphasized that one of the main tasks this time is to come up with clearly committed, implementable plans and arrangements on how to continue the second commitment period under the Kyoto Protocol and to make it work starting from 2013.
