Cameron Diaz has taken out the title of Hollywood's top-earning actress, earning $56.7 million over the past year, according to Forbes magazine's first rich actress report.
Her top billing is due in large part to her lucrative reoccurring role as a princess-turned-ogre in DreamWorks' "Shrek" franchise, the Web site reports.
"Atonement" star Keira Knightley places No. 2 on the list, with annual earnings of $32 million.
Former "Friend" Jennifer Aniston comes in third, collecting $27 million over the course of the year for films like "Marley & Me" and "He's Just Not That Into You."
Oscar-winners Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow tied for fourth place on the list, with each banking $25 million during the year.
Jodie Foster came in sixth with $23 million; Sarah Jessica Parker seventh with $18 million; Meryl Streep eighth with $16 million; Amy Adams ninth with $14.5 million and Angelina Jolie tenth with $14 million.
Hollywood's 10 top-earning actresses collectively banked $277.24 million for the 12 months until June 1, 2008, according to Forbes magazine's report.
According to a recently published Forbes list, Will Smith was the top earner with $90.71 million, followed by Johnny Depp with $81.64 million and Shrek co-stars Eddie Murphy and Mike Myers, who tied for third place with $62.37 million.
