Chinese shares open slightly lower Tuesday

China's equities opened slightly lower on Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.10 percent to open at 2,625.33.

The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 0.25 percent to open at 11,380.85.
